Peruano Mexicano 3 is El Monte Rey's first solo album/mix-tape! This album/mix-tape includes the latest underground hit single by the independent artist, "What You Want, What You Need?". It includes a trilogy to the song "My Best Friend" where El Monte Rey departs from his friends and dedicates the hook of the song to his two children. Peruano Mexicano (2013-2014) included an educational political hip-hop song titled, "Homeland Security"; Peruano Mexicano 2 (2015) included "Immigration Please"; now in Peruano Mexicano 3 (2016), he includes one titled "Racialized". El Monte Rey has a song dedicated to his friend Joe Joe (who is currently serving a 6 year sentence in Texas), titled "Free Joe Joe". In this album/mix-tape, El Monte Rey emphasizes his struggles, trials, and tribulations in "Working 9-5" and "Tic-Tac-Toe"; leading to his announcement to run for president in the song, "Revolución". The combination of music production by Jasmine Mendez, engineering by M.C. Infinite, and live freestyles by El Monte Rey, could possibly make this another underground album/mix-tape classic!?
